Definition of "Hafaz"

DEFINITON OF "HAFAZ"


"Hafaz" means reserved and kept immortal in memory , particularly in recitation of Al-Quran. 

In Bahasa Melayu, "menghafaz" means reading or learning the Ayah of Quran repeatedly in order to memorize it. Other than hafaz, in Malay it was called "hafal", that means has already dominated in memory without looking to the book or any note. 

In Arabic language , it was mentioned as az-zakirah. People who have a powerful memory cited as quwwatuz zakirah (قوة الذاكرة) 

TYPES OF MEMORY

Memory or az-zakirah is very important in individual life. Tenis William says, memory is knowledge and information. 

3 types of memory : 1. Tenured memory
                                  2. Temporary memory
                                  3. Permanent memory

Process of memorizing 
- Process of necessity in memorizing
- Process of consciousness and convergence about information in memory
- Process of  saving memory
- Process of arranging memory
- Process memorizing and restoring information
